I had a list, which I kept to break up the amount of time that I have to wait until my surgery, but I have finished everything on that list, amazingly. So I am going to try to focus and make a new list.
I have eleven days until midnight the night before my surgery. Tensions are rising. I would not say I am afraid, but I am aware of the risks that I am taking. They are on my mind.
Strangely enough, the weight loss that will accompany the surgery is only at the very edges of my awareness. I am aware that my pants, my only pair of jeans is about falling off of me, but I won't buy new at this time. I stopped buying clothing back in November and I refuse to buy any clothing right now.
