Some new goals

I want to set some new goals that are not scale-based, and some of them will be scale-based.

I had said I wanted to be out of the 200's by our vacation in May, but that is too hard of a target to hit. It's like climbing a steep grade looking at the very top, rather than just picking a focal point a few feet away -- which makes the climb easier.

Here it is:

Right now (March 17, 2015) I am 231 pounds and my next goal is to be in the 220's. I have been waiting a long time for this goal.I got into the 230's on Feb 24, 2015 and today is March 17, 2015. It would be nice to be out of the 230's soon. GOAL HIT ON 3/23/15

222 is my lucky number and seeing that on the scale is my second goal. I was married at 2:22 and since then it has seemed like whenever it is 2:22, something good happens. 333 is my UNLUCKY number and I want out of the 230s. GOAL HIT ON 4/6/15

After I hit 222, then my goal is going to be 215. I remember being 218 and want to be a good couple of pounds under that. GOAL HIT ON 5/3/15

Fitting into all XL sized clothes rather than 1X clothes is my goal. Right today I put away all of my size 2X clothes, which was hard, but I am solidly in 1X. GOAL HIT ON 6/11/15

Changing a bra size would be great. GOAL HIT ON 3/25/15 and again on 9/20/15!

Next weight loss goal is 210. You notice these are pretty close together. I don't want to have to wait too long between goals. GOAL HIT ON 5/28/15! YIPEE!

202 is a big number for me. I remember having my third child and weighing 202 after his birth. I have six kids and each one put a solid twenty pounds on me. I love turning back the clock. GOAL HIT ON 7/11/2015


Size 16 is a goal for me. That is a size Large in the US and that is one of my goals. GOAL HIT ON 6/12/15

198 is the next goal, which is 100 pounds lost and also puts me 2 pounds into Onederland -- a Double Onederland! GOAL HIT ON 8/9/2015

190 is the next goal. GOAL HIT ON 9/25/2015

Being firmly in a size 14. Like size 14 non stretch pants. GOAL HIT ON 11/29/2015

After that I will aim for 185. GOAL HIT ON 11/13/2015

180 is after that one. GOAL HIT ON 12/25/2015

Being in a size 12. GOAL HIT ON 2/26/16!!

178 will be next. GOAL HIT ON 1/26/16!!

Then 174, which represents 100 pounds lost since I went for my bariatric evaluation.

169 is next. Gotta love those transitions.

165 is my ultimate goal and time to assess how I feel. The BMI charts tell me I should be about 135, but as a former 5'11" person, I doubt that that is reasonable.

I will add goals as time goes by and list when each one was hit.
